My journey through my second pregnancy!

Since I am picking up the blog from when I first started I am playing catch up on some of the main events that have occurred in our lives. We welcomed the birth of our second child, Brantley Kyle Malone on July 24th and our world couldn't be more complete. Caidan is an awesome big bro and continues to amaze me at how kind and sweet he is even though he turned 10 this year and seems to be more "cool" everyday! I got the idea to document my pregnancy through another blog that I follow called little baby garvin, she is so talented in things like this and my boards are not as cool as hers but here they are!

What a wonderful and amazing journey it was! I'm sure my husband would agree since he's the one who took all the pictures! Thanks again to Jessica from little baby garvin for the inspiration and ideas!

Brantley is 12 weeks!

Someone is growing like a weed and getting cuter by the day! I swear he is going to start crawling tomorrow! He is giggling and talking up a storm. I miss my newborn but am thankful for the sleep that I'm getting now!
He's such a little ham:) we are in trouble for when he gets older, I feel like he's going to be a heartbreaker!

Vinyl wall decals

I first came across vinyl wall decals back when I was designing our master bedroom. They were the perfect addition to any wall space when you are trying to decide what to put up. I feel like artwork is sometimes over used in a space and can become heavy and over whelming. They can be perfect when you are searching for the last piece. I've used them in Brantley's nursery and most recently in my guest bedroom.
I found all of them at my local hobby lobby. The ones from Brantley's nursery came from innovative stencils.
This one is in our living room! The possibilities are endless! Think outside the box!

Fall time in my home!

Fall time is probably my most favorite time of the year other than Christmas because I get to break out all my fall clothes and more importantly, my fall decor!
Fall garlands are always a must! This one is from the wonderful world of yellowbirdyellowbeard! She has increidible garlands that will go with any holiday or theme! She also does custom orders upon request!
I also make wreaths for just about every holiday! This is the one I made for fall!
I don't know about you but I think I am obsessed with bath and body works candles. They always have the most amazing scents and always burn evenly so I never feel like I am wasting any! The other pumpkins are from hobby lobby and the "m" is a decal that I just stuck onto the pumpkin!
Last but not least. Fall is the perfect time for pumpkin spice lattes and I am in love with them!

Re using your old frames

There have been so many times where I have decided to re design a space or room in my house and I'm always so inclined to go buy new artwork. But my husband said "why don't you just re use the frame and make your own art?" Ummm not sure why I didn't think of that! So that's what I did! I went to the website tagxedo.com and created the artwork! They let you take any form of words and make then into shapes and then download and print them for free! I then just used old scrapbook paper for the matting and voila!
Before and after.....
I have now looked at all the frames in my house thinking, yeah I could replace those! I think my husband might kill me!

Pumpkin Patch time....

A couple weekends ago we visited our local pumpkin patch! Brantley seemed less than thrilled but Caidan loved it! We managed to score 4 huge pumpkins that we are going to carve later this week! Below are some fun pics from that day!

SO I have been MIA recently and it's time that I re enter my little blogging world. I had a son on July 24th, named Brantley and he has occupied much of my time!
