Baby Number three!

We are so happy to announce that we will be welcoming baby number three in late January! I am beyond excited to grow our little family into 5:) Brantley and the new baby will be almost exactly 18 months apart which from what I hear is the best!

That's ICE ICE baby if you didn't catch on:)

Embrace the Mess and Eat Donuts

I have learned with two kids, a husband and two dogs that I must embrace the mess. And for anyone who knows me, knows that it probably the hardest thing I can do. Next is killing spiders. The house is sold but that doesn't mean we can do our day to day activities and treat it like we used to (we got new wood floors out in) so it's been a special kind of hard to keep it in order for these last few weeks that we are here. But the other day, I just didn't care. We ate donuts for lunch (National donut day) and we went to the pool and then poured all the toys out and banged them against the wall. In that moment, I just didn't care. The baby was happy, I had 15 minutes to kick my feet up and Caidan was playing video games, all was good.

Then this happened....

Oh the life of a 10 month old. Must be rough. Must be rough.

We celebrated my parents birthday's this past weekend and I just adore this picture. It was totally impromptu but turned out perfect.

I also did some Pinterest inspired DIY decor this past weekend! It's a pallet from Aaron's work and just some paint. Pretty much the easiest thing I've ever done. My husband thinks I can sell them. Oh, yeah, like I have time for another job.

Aaron NEVER has days off, and when I say never, I mean never. He has like every other monday off and even that is debatable. But this monday we took full advantage of the mid 60 degree weather and one happy baby and the 4 of our carted off to the zoo. Brantley was mostly confused but loved the fish.

Embracing the mess is one thing I am sure that I will master soon. But for now, we take it day by day and just enjoy each others company:) Stay tuned for some exciting news coming up in the next few days!

Summer Time!

Can I just say that I am so excited that summer is here! It is so much easier to take care of kids when the weather is nice, and for the past few days it's been beautiful here! We even went and bought a pool for B to play in. Needless to say it was the best 12 dollars I've ever spent. I am also getting exited for Brantley's first fourth of July! I've already scooped up this adorable swimsuit and matching top for him!

In other news, we sold our house in a whopping 2 days! We put in on the market on Friday and within a day we had an offer come in for over asking, so we are under contract and I couldn't be more excited! Now for the actual moving part....bleh.

Turns out B not only loves the pool but he love the grass, and his dad. Preferably together.

Another thing he loves....tearing up toilet paper. Thank you Brantley for always keeping me on my toes.

I hope to have a fun July fourth celebration at our house even though we'll be moving on the 14th. Hope you all are having a great Tuesday!

Life Lately

Oh my goodness, as if I thought life couldn't get crazier, it does. This week, Brantley turned 10 months, and finally got teeth! Caidan finished 5th grade, we bought a house and we're selling our house! Phew! We are in the process of moving closer to everything! Family, friends, work and school. We love our house in Parker but we need more space for this ever growing family and we desperately needed a basement! It's amazing house much stuff one little baby can accumulate! We found a great house that we are currently under contract and move in July 14th! Brantley is 3 steps away from walking and he is a man on the move! Caidan will be in his last year at Lone Tree Elementary and then it's Middle School for this guy, my heart is breaking because I know he is growing up and needs me less and less:(

Anyways, such is life and we are a busy little family! Here is a recap in pictures!

Happy hump day! We are going to enjoy the rest of the beautiful day at the park!

Mother's Day

Better late than never! Our Mother's Day was everything short of perfect. We grilled with family even though it was a blizzard outside! This mother's day was especially one to remember because it was the first one I got to share with both of my boys, last year I was 30 weeks pregnant!  It is amazing how fast time flies and I can't believe how big both my kids are! I am truly blessed. Here is a highlight of our day in pictures!

Hope you all had a great day!

Growing up is hard to do

Man oh man, time is going by too fast! Brantley is a crawling machine and I feel like walking is in his near future! Caidan walked at 10 months so I have no doubt that Brantley could be walking very soon! Caidan is finishing up his last couple games of the spring football season and then we will hear up for the fall! School is almost over for him which means summer is almost hear and I can see the pool in my near future! We went to Mexico this past weekend with Aaron's family and left the kiddos at home. It was a great trip but I sure did miss them. Mother's Day is this weekend and I can't wait to share it with my momma! She really is the best mom out there hands down!

9 months!

Brantley is 9 months today and let me just tell you that I cannot believe that he is turning into a little man and no longer will be a baby:( He has mastered crawling and does speed crawling around the house! He pulls himself up on furniture and attempts to walk alongside it. He is full of loud noises but not too many words. He loves eating and is OVER baby food. He still had no teeth. He giggles at the dogs and Caidan. He likes playing in the dog food. He thinks its funny to throw his food on the floor and watch the dogs eat it. He loves bath time. He loves Baby Einstein. He wears mostly 12-18 month clothes. He loves his dad. And most of all he is a joy in our lives.
