Green is the new black

March is my second favorite month other than December because not only is it St. Patty's Day but it is also my birthday. Anyone who knows me knows that I make a big deal out of my birthday every year and I love celebrating and sharing it with my friends and family! I also am dying over all of the green overload that I am seeing everywhere! It makes mw so excited! Look at all the adorable green goodies there are for the kiddos! I've already scooped up some of these!

Not to mention all the green treats and crafts that I can do with the kids. Caidan is always up for some craft time with his momma! I am dying over the green pancakes!

Cheers to it almost being March and bring on the green beer!

Love Love Love

I have been so busy with household work these past few weeks I've neglected to upload new pics and updates! Things have been crazy around here lately with Valentines Day and trying to get back into the swing of things. I am also taking an online photography class to try and get better at using my uber expensive Nikon DSLR camera:) Brantley is growing like a weed and Caidan is right there with his brother! Caidan is just finishing up his season of basketball and will be starting his spring football in just a few short weeks! Know what else is in a few weeks? My birthday. I think I get way too excited about my birthday every year, not because I am getting older (however 29 is looking pretty good these days) I just get excited for one day to be about me! I am also getting excited for St. Patty's Day because my birthday falls on the 16th! I can see lucky charm cupcakes and all things green in my future!

Heart shaped food has got to be my absolute favorite thing and let me just say that my heart cookie cutter got its work out this month!

Hope everyone had a fantastic Valentines Day and stay tuned for lots of green inspired posts!

Weekend fun and first words:)

I have been so bad about keeping this updated but have just been so busy lately. Well, the broncos didn't win. Womp womp womp. I was devastated for the first couple hours after the game was over but then I remembered that by making it to the superbowl, we were already winners. Here's some photos from the day:) We started our day off with some football pancakes which by the way were super easy once I figured out that you cannot use your plastic cookie cutters on the pan, yes, they will melt. Don't judge me. I just made the pancakes and THEN punched them out with my cutter, didn't have icing, so the laces are cream cheese!

We also tried avocado this past weekend and LOVED it!

While Mommy ate a hundred of these little babies:) If you want the recipe, all I did was buy the candy quick melting stuff you can get in the store and a bag of pretzels and used the same sprinkles we used from our sugar cookies a few weeks ago:)

Isn't he just the cutest thing ever!!!!

To top off our wonderful weekend someone said their first word! MAMA!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful start to February! We are making valentines this weekend so stayed tuned for something crafty I have up my sleeve!
